Making Compost with Our Students!
Compost, which is an organic fertilizer of great importance in terms of sustainable agriculture, was made by our students.
Our event was organized within the scope of Organic Fertilizers and Fertilization and Ecology course.
Compost is a valuable organic fertilizer obtained by recycling plant residues.
In our event held today, the composting process was started by using dried leaves, green plant residues, farm manure and soil in the campus.
The maturing compost manure will be used as organic fertilizer by students in our greenhouses.
