Organic agriculture program under the Department of Plant and Animal Production has been opened in the School of Higher Education in the 2015-2016 education year in order to make the organic agriculture activities more conscious. Organic Agriculture Program; To produce "Organic Farming Technicians" which can use sustainable agriculture, production of vegetable and animal products in accordance with the organic farming method and to use modern production techniques that do not harm human health and agriculture in order to control processing and storage of these products. The duration of training of the organic agriculture associate degree program is 2 years. Students will graduate with 120 ECTS credit when they finish the program. The courses are theoretical and practical, compulsory and elective courses and basic lessons are given to basic principles of organic farming and plant breeding. Acceptance Requirements

:

Candidate students are placed by ÖSYM with their high school diploma and the score they received from the YKS central exam.

Graduation Requirements

:

Students who have successfully passed the compulsory courses specified in the course plan and the minimum number of elective courses required to be taken, have received at least 120 ECTS and have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 can graduate.

Degree

:

Graduates of the program are entitled to receive an Associate Degree in Organic Agriculture.

Transition

:

With the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM; Horticulture, Plant Protection, Plant Production and Technologies, Biosystems Engineering, Food Engineering, Organic Farming Management, Forest Engineering, Agricultural Economics,
