YDİ 101-English Language I & YDİ 102-English Language II Exemption Exam (2023-2024 Academic Year)
Dear Students,
The exemption exams for YDİ 101-English Language I and YDİ 102-English Language II for the academic year 2023-2024 will be held face-to-face on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 13:30. Only students who are taking the course for the first time or have previously taken the course and failed can participate in the exams. Students aiming to improve their grades cannot take the exemption exams. Even if these students participate in the exams, their exams will be considered INVALID.
The exemption exams for YDİ 101 English Language I and YDİ 102 English Language II consist of two parts with 20 multiple-choice questions each, totaling 40 questions. Questions 1 to 20 belong to the FIRST SEMESTER course YDİ 101-English Language I, and questions 21 to 40 belong to the SECOND SEMESTER course YDİ 102-English Language II. The duration of the exam is 50 minutes. Evaluation will be conducted separately for each section and is independent of each other.
Each student will take the exam in their respective department's building. The classrooms where the exams will take place will be determined by your departments and published on your department's website. Therefore, please follow your department's website for the classrooms where the exams will be held.
Participation in the exemption exams is optional. There is no obligation to participate in the exams. Only students who wish to be exempt from the courses may participate. Students who wish to take the exams must apply to their departments.
After the completion of the exams, the list of students who are deemed "exempt" will be sent to the student affairs office of the faculties.
